National Burger Week came and went –as did any hopes of fitting into our Speedos by Memorial Day– after we downed seven burgers in seven days during our annual celebration of the beef.

We down burgers on the regular but we always kick it up a notch the second week of May and go seven-in-seven for National Hamburger Week. This year is no exception as we dove mouth-first into our week-long observance with Kraze Burger on Monday.

For the second time this month, a D.C.-area burger chain has closed one of its joints.

It's been a long time coming but Kraze Burger is finally opening in D.C. The Korean-based joint will open its doors to the public in Barracks Row Thursday, October 17, while employees go through training.

The long-delayed opening of Kraze Burger's third U.S. location is just around the corner, but now it's just a question of where that third location will be.

If you think the D.C. burger market is saturated now, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Traditionally, our weekends consist of equal amounts of eating and drinking and sleeping. Super Bowl weekend, however, skews the ratio in favor of booze and grub, so we're elated these area joints are pulling out the stops for the game and hooking up specials to satisfy our hunger.

Word on the street is Kraze Burger has quietly opened their first U.S. location in Bethesda this past week.
