Three hours of all you can eat burgers, all you can drink boozers AND it's just a Metro ride away? It may not be South Beach, but with 10 of D.C.'s top chefs going head-to-head in a burger battle right in our own back yard next month, we think this will be even better.

Have no fear D.C.-- Ray's Hell Burger didn't die, it just crossed the street.

We were happy to see Joe's Burgers get some love from area chefs during Eater's Burger Week, and since it had been a hot minute since we last got our beef on at the McLean joint, we decided to kick off National Hamburger Week with the unheralded burger slinger.

Whatever obese order of eaters sat down and decided to assign a food to celebrate every goddamn day, week and month of the year, picked May to exalt that beautiful patty of beef we've come to know and love. That's right, fools-- it's National Hamburger Month.
