It's that time of the year again when we reflect on the plethora of ground beef that entered our systems over the past 12 months and choose the greatest of the greasy bunch.

For the past three months, we've been stuffing our faces with just about everything we can get our hands on, slowly but surely stretching our stomachs to their very limit. We call it training. Our wives call it disgusting.

The polls have closed on one of three D.C. burger elections, while the other two are still going strong until Election Day.

Is it really a surprise that even burgers get political in an election year? This is D.C. after all.
