UPDATE 2: As of Tuesday, all the joints below are open and slinging burgers again! UPDATE: Z-Burger is open until 10 p.m. tonight. As the D.C. area braces for Hurricane Sandy, burger joints everywhere are battening down the hatches today. All D.C.-area Shake Shacks, BGR The Burger Joints, Black & Oranges and Reston's be right burger are closed today, so you'll have to find your fix elsewhere. For those out in Leesburg, Delmarva's Southern Cafe told us they will remain open for lunch and other burger tipsters have alerted us to an open Five Guys on 14th Street in D.C. However you decide to ride out the storm, beef or no beef, stay safe burger eaters. Stay safe.
