While some may lament the impending arrival of yet another burger restaurant to the D.C. area, we just lick our greasy lips in anticipation. And when that joint coming to town also packs some serious boozer credentials and tater tots, it makes us downright euphoric.

It's no secret we love the bacon jam. Our obsession dates back to March of last year when we took on a healthy dollop of the stuff with one of Mad Fox's burger specials and each and every time since we've tangled with the sweet, bacony goodness, we've been left wanting more.

D.C. will have to wait a little longer for their taste of SNOB Burger.

Looks like D.C. burger makers did some heavy shopping in the produce section as the BOTMs go big on the green in June. Basil, arugula, mixed greens, pickles and avocados get major play on the beef this month and that's just like eating a salad with a bit of meat thrown in, right?

The Helix Lounge isn't the first place we'd think of to grab a bite. But after a menu revamp, the spot comes correct with a full-on burger bar, a lineup of signature burgs, heaps of impressive toppings and a Wednesday burger night for some cheap grubbing.
