The sixth Washington, D.C. area Smashburger opened its doors at 10 a.m. today in Falls Church at the corner of Annandale Road and South Washington Street. The F.C. location joins spots in Fairfax, DuPont, Germantown, Bethesda and Tysons as the Denver-based chain continues its beefy infiltration of the D.C. metro area. Like all their D.C. joints, F.C.'s Smashburger serves up the Capital Burger with grilled onions, aged Swiss, baby arugula, Applewood-smoked bacon, tomatoes and mayo on a brioche bun. Also of note, we discovered that in addition to fried pickles and a PB&J shake, a Vegas-inspired Sin City Burger topped with a fried egg, Applewood-smoked bacon, melted American cheese, grilled and haystack onions and Smash sauce is also available on Smashburger's "secret menu."
