Burgers, goooooood.

Burgers, goooooood.

Falls Church gets another entry into the burger game this week when Cafe Kindred debuts its new bar, Townshend, during a grand opening this Friday. The Little City coffee shop opened in May of 2015 and while it has been churning out caffeine and tasty sandwiches for over a year now (TIP: if they offer an egg on top, put an egg on top), now they've added a full lineup of booze and the sandwich of all sandwiches to the mix at a new back bar. In fact, the new dinner menu's main focus are burgers, with four in the lineup including a standard bacon cheeseburger, a chili cheeseburger, a fancier mushroom, Swiss and balsamic option and a super stack of blue cheese, sautéed onions, an onion ring and, of course, an over easy fried egg. All burgers weigh in at a solid seven ounces and are a blend of chuck, short rib and brisket. Townshend Bar, open Wednesday through Friday starting at 5 p.m., is hooking it up on the booze front, too, with four rotating taps, wine, cocktails and even boozy ice cream floats.
