Here we go, kids, it's time to get greasy. In just two days time, National Hamburger Week begins and this year we're bringing you a full seven days' worth of spectacular burgers from the D.C. area's very best joints. Seven burgers. Seven days. You can't argue with that math. Over the last two weeks, we did our own version of a strip tease – which it turns out is far less sexier and far more greasier than a regular strip tease – and slowly revealed the star-studded burger lineup: B Side, Burger Tap & Shake, DCity Smokehouse, Holy Cow, Mad Fox, The Pig and Right Proper. We may be a little biased, but that group is pretty damn ridiculous. So you can plan your meal schedule accordingly, below are the drool-inducing, pant-tightening, screw-the-gym-and-let's-eat-dinner-twice details on what the above joints will be slinging from Sunday, May 10 until Saturday, May 16. In addition, we'll be taking a more in-depth look at each burger with daily posts throughout the week starting on Sunday. Keep in mind, these special burgers are as fleeting as they are greasy – some will be available all week long while others will only last a day. BONUS: Snap a photo while taking any of these burgers to the dome next week and you could find yourself looking fly and well-fed for the foreseeable future.
