Tune Inn Back in Biz This Friday

Huzzah! Tune Inn, the Capitol Hill dive badly damaged by a kitchen fire earlier this summer, is all patched up and will reopen this Friday.
Washington City Paper reports the joint will open its doors for the first time in four months this Friday, November 4, at 8 a.m.
A fundraiser in July raised almost $40,000 to support the staff of the bar while the restaurant was closed for repairs.
Tune Inn is one of the Burger Days Crew's favorite spots for a burger in the District, laying claim to being the kick-off spot for the first-ever Burger Days adventure.
The joint has been featured in
George Motz' book Hamburger America,Â
Esquire's "100 Best Bars in America," and on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives."
