Like a soaking-wet mogwai, Smashburger continues its multiplication all over the Washington, D.C. area. The Denver-based chain opens its latest location to the public tomorrow, Wednesday, in Bethesda and next Thursday, January 19, a Tysons joint will join the greasy mix. Then, three weeks after Tysons on January 9, a Falls Church spot will fire up its grills. Smashburger's first D.C.-area restaurant opened in October of 2012 in Fairfax and with the Falls Church spot, the chain will have six locations in the D.M.V. (also Tysons, Bethesda, Dupont and Germantown). But they're far from finished-- a rep for the flat-as-a-pancake burger slingers tell us they hope to have 30 joints in D.C., Maryland and Virginia over the next few years. You ready D.C.?
