Only one burger this month is new to the D.C. scene. That's weak. This month's crop includes two BOTM repeats (including one from
last month), one former regular menu burger and a single new creation. Let's get to 'em...
Bobby's Burger Palace
Perhaps the most boring-named burger in the world, Bobby's Burger Palace's
Pacific Northwest Burger is Mr. Food Network's October BOTM. White cheddar, cremini mushrooms and red wine barbecue sauce make up this snooze fest.

Burger Tap & Shake
This month,
The Badger returns to BTS. The former regular menu item was banished some time ago but the bratwurst patty is now back in BOTM form. Topped with sauerkraut, Swiss and beer mustard, we'll have to see if the return is warranted.

Dogwood Tavern
Ever since chef Dennis Marron left for Pittsburgh, Poste's
Onion Soup Burger is no longer a D.C. thing. This month, however, Dogwood brings its own version of the soup-turned-burger to the menu with a seasoned beef patty topped with crispy fried onions and melted provolone and Parmesan. .

BGR The Burger Joint
Like a bad case of the (re)runs, here's where we get sad once again. Opting to move to a 45-day cycle for their limited-time burgers, BGR continues with the
Oktoberfest burger through October. So expect to see more muenster, sauerkraut, mustard ale sauce and brat-topped burgers this month. It's
not that bad a thing, we just wanted something new.
