By far the best news we've heard all week-- Shake Shack is doubling its brick-and-mortar presence in the D.M.V. next year. Danny Meyer's burger joint will open in Union Station and Tysons Corner -- TYSONS!-- a press release announced today. The new D.C. joint is set for the West Hall of Union Station and the Tysons Shack will be a stand-alone spot next to the mall. As we've said before, Tysons is quickly becoming THE go-to burger destination in all of the D.M.V. with BGR, Elevation, Smashburger, Five Guys and Kraze (if it ever opens) all up in that spot. The new Shake Shacks are expected to open in mid-2014.
