Mad Fox Pulls Out All the Stops for ‘Epic’ Burger Week

Tuesday’s Mad Fox gut buster.

This week, Falls Church’s Mad Fox Brew Pub is throwing out some of the most extreme and massive combinations of beef and bun we’ve ever seen. And that’s saying a lot.

We ain’t piling on the hyperbole here– just look at the thing above. That’s a half-pound blend of chuck and brisket topped with pulled pork, fried mozzarella, fried onions, AN EGG, and then on top of the whole mess is a Tillamook Cheddar stuffed fried jalapeno. Yeah, that was a real thing. And it was glorious.

The Cowboy. Giddyup.

Unfortunately for you, that special is over, but good news for your belly (and the not-so-good news for your waistline), Mad Fox Chef Andrew Dixon is back with another ridiculous creation again today.

The latest Mad Fox burger to delight bellies and clog up arteries is the Cowboy. Now get ready for this: it’s a double cheese, double bacon, double-pattied beef burger. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! Sandwiched between those beautiful patties of beef is a beer battered onion ring which will in turn be stuffed with BBQ beef brisket. And if all that wasn’t enough, there’s coleslaw and horseradish-BBQ mayo on the thing.

Ho-lee sheet. My cholesterol level went up just writing that paragraph, but hot damn, if I’m not near ravenous now.

Other specials Dixon has in store for this week include a bahn mi burger, a bacon-mac burger and other yet-to-be revealed creations. He’s calling it Mad Fox’s Epic Burger Week and we can’t think of a more accurate descriptor of this beef bonanza. Burgers will be available for both lunch and dinner.
