Gone are the days of mixing up lunch plans with an emergency contraceptive– Plan B Burger Bar is no more.
The unfortunately-named restaurant which opened on Pennsylvania Avenue last November has ditched its morning-after moniker and will now be simply known as b. No more plan. No more burger bar. Just b.
"Brands evolve over time, constantly reflecting the changes in the market, the team, personal development," b marketing manager Rachel Hurvitz tells Burger Days but she assures us the focus will still be on burgers, beer and bourbon.
Hurvitz says that established locations in Connecticut and Massachusetts will transition "organically" while newer restaurants, like the ones in D.C., Pennsylvania and Ashburn's upcoming One Loudoun spot set to open next month, won't reference "Plan B" or "Burger Bar" at all.
