We somehow managed to get through November and all its bird burgers so you better believe we're hitting the December BOTMs hard. Thankfully, there ain't a winged patty in sight this month as we get a heavy load of bacon, heat and a certain antlered sky rider.  

Bobby's Burger Palace

Pretty much anything BBP puts forth this time has got to be better than last month's snoozefest. And we're happy to say the initial report looks good. You can't go wrong with egg, bacon and cheese on a burger. YOU JUST CAN'T. As long as that egg is a runny, soak-your-bun-and-run-through-your-fingers flavor bomb, you'll be fat and happy upon first bite. Burger Tap & Shake

Now this --THIS-- is what we're talking about. It may not be fried-Twinkie buns but BTS continues to flex their creative muscle with their December burger. If you ain't feelin' festive already, you should be after this one: a venison bacon burger with red onion caraway marmalade, smoked gouda and lingonberry mustard. The name? Why, Blitzen, naturally. Dogwood Tavern

With a name like The Ultimate Burger, this thing better be pretty fucking special. Dogwood's BOTM aims to warm up the taste buds this month with roasted poblano peppers, pepper jack cheese and a Cholula BBQ sauce. Does it live up to its name? BGR The Burger Joint

We're not quite sure what's been going on with BGR recently but their BOTMs are hitting us with a hefty dose of boooooooorrrrring.
