It's already five days into 2016, which means our resolutions are already in the shitter. Oh well, there's always next year. So with all that nonsense behind us, we're ready to go meat-in-face with each and every one of the January's BOTMs below.  Happy New Year, everyone.

Bobby's Burger Palace

It's January which means Bobby's Burger Palace has hit rewind on its BOTM list and is back at the beginning. Just like last year at this time, the north-of-the-border Canadian Burger is up with a sweet-and-salty mashup of white cheddar cheese, maple mustard sauce and Canadian bacon. Burger Tap & Shake

BTS has made a few fancy versions of the cheese-stuffed Juicy Lucy over the years and they're back at it again to kick off 2016. The January BOTM, the Juicy Blucy stuffs the beef with blue cheese and tops it with bacon, pear and walnut chutney and port wine aioli. Dogwood Tavern

Dogwood's January BOTM hooks up the combo of all combos: meat on meat. The Falls Church sports bar's Reuben Burger tops a beef batty with the sandwich's requisite toppings – corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, thousand island – and serves it up on marble rye. You've got to break your resolution some time– it might as well involve a bunch of meat. 132 West Broad Street | Falls Church | dogwoodtavern.com   

Social Burger

Breakfast burgers can be exciting and breakfast burgers can be not so exciting. The standard bacon, egg and cheese combo, while tasty, isn't all that thrilling so busting out a limited-time burger with that makeup is weak. Fortunately, Social Burger gets it. The Vienna joint's January BOTM is the Chorizo Breakfast Burger which mixes things up with a spicy chorizo patty topped with a fried egg, hash browns and pickled red onions.
