We bid a greasy farewell to May and National Hamburger Month and welcome in a fresh crop of BOTMs to fill our bellies in June. This month, BTS brings Northern Virginia to Foggy Bottom (in a way), Dogwood goes to the Mediterranean, Bobby's Burger Palace hooks up the goat cheese and BGR and Social Burger actively ignore the "B" in BOTM.

Burger Tap & Shake
So this is pretty cool. For their June BOTM, BTS hooks up an homage to Annandale with the
Little River Turnpike. The Korean-themed burger tops a beef patty with American cheese, grilled pork belly, kimchi and Gochujang BBQ sauce. Yup, we can definitely get down with this one.

BGR The Burger Joint
So remember when last month, BGR hooked up a salmon BLT as their special "burger?" Well, the disappointment continues in June as the BOTM on tap is a
lobster roll. This could be BGR's swan song in the BOTM Club if they don't go beef next month.

Bobby's Burger Palace
Bobby, Bobby, Bobby. These days, the BBP chief is more likely to show up
on TMZ than Food Network. Anyway, this month Mr. Flay rolls out his
Napa Valley burger...AGAIN...with goat cheese, watercress and Meyer lemon honey mustard sauce. If Bobby keeps serving up the same tired burgers each month, our eyes – and bellies – might start to wander, too... [

Dogwood Tavern
Dogwood hooked up a
Mediterranean burger back in April of 2013 but this time their jazzing it up a bit. Rather than just beef and some red pepper and feta, this version uses a ground lamb patty topped with house-made Tzatziki, a sun-dried tomato and feta spread plus pickled red onion and arugula. We approve these upgrades.

Social Burger
Oh, Social Burger – we were so happy when you joined the BOTM club but this month puts a slight damper on our exuberance. The
Steak and Cheese special ditches the beef patty and replaces it with six ounces of sirloin, provolone, roasted green pepper mayo, peppers and onions on a potato bun. While unfortunately not a burger, we'd still toss this one into the ol' face hole.
