Lucky Buns will feature twists on Alex McCoy's burgers, like the OG burger here, plus new recipes starting this Sunday.
Beef-and-bun mastermind and
creator of some of the best burgers in D.C., Alex McCoy, will debut a burger pop-up at his Park View restaurant, Alfie's,
this Sunday next Sunday, May 29.
In a Burger Days exclusive, McCoy, creator of the Proper Burger at Duke's Grocery, the Aussie burger at Alfie's and the Burger Royale at Crisp, tells us his new pop-up, Lucky Buns, will feature new twists on his current burger lineup which already includes the excellent OG and Aussie burgers. McCoy will also be throwing a few new recipes into the mix including a veggie burger, a bacon cheeseburger with bacon "XO" marmalade and a green chili burger with pickled-and-charred poblano peppers. Burgers at Lucky Buns will be available for both eat-in and take out.
