UPDATE: And fuck. Well, we all know how this one is going to end. Not content with laying the jinx down on the Nationals and the Redskins, Z-Burger has now set its sights on the Capitals. The burger chain announced this morning that if the Caps win Game 7 tonight, their new Arlington joint will dish out free burgs from 11 am - 2 pm Tuesday. The problem is, our teams don't fare too well when burgers are on the line. Z-Burger has tried this promo twice before with D.C. sports teams and both ended in spectacularly horrible fashion. With a promise of free burgers when they won, the Nationals had an epic, heartbreaking collapse vs. the Cardinals in the first round of the playoffs last year. But that was nothing compared to the terribleness of last January when not only did the 'Skins lose to Seattle in Round 1, but RGIII broke himself during the game. So, with free burgers waiting for us on the other side of a Washington playoff victory, can Ovie and Co. break the curse and bring D.C. a long-awaited playoff victory? We're not superstitious but our Magic 8 Ball isn't too optimistic.  Z-Burger | 3325 Wilson Boulevard | Arlington | zburger.com
