This is a quick hit from Vegas. After our flight we quickly scoped out our first burger destination in Sin City: Wolfgang Puck's Postrio in the Venetian. When he's not sharing the small screen with Molly Sims and Josh Duhamel, Wolfgang hooks up a seriously good burger. Did he bring it? Yes, yes he did. The grilled prime burger came with Vermont cheddar, smoked onion marmalade  and garlic aioli and was served on a sesame seeded bun. Ordered it rare and it came our rare. Pink and juicy, just the way we love it. To be honest, we couldn't taste the garlic aioli at all, but that was quite all right as the onion marmalade was awesome and ruled this burger show. A distant cousin to the bacon jam we love so much, we didn't even miss the pork here. It rocked. Also of note was the bun. Usually when we're confronted with sesame seed buns, we don't even notice the seeds. Not so here-- they added a strong taste to the beginning of each burger bite before being taken over by the marmalade. A very nice addition. One Vegas burger down and oh so many more yet to go.
