Dupont Burger Joints Are Dropping Like Flies

Yesterday
we got news that Smashburger in Dupont shut up shop
barely a year after opening and now today,
Eater has word that Black & Orange has become yet another burger slinger of the past. The joint formerly known as Rogue States, best known for its litigious neighbors who hated the smell of delicious beef, still has a location open in the U Street corridor but who knows for how long.
In completely unrelated news, we have unconfirmed reports that the Dupont Shake Shack will be screening
