Watch out for flying balls to the face when Shake Shack debuts its all-new ping pong tournament at its Tysons joint in early October. The Shake Shack Table Tennis League, or SSTTL natch', will bust out the paddles at 3 p.m., Saturday, October 4 on the Tysons Plaza for a 16-person tourney. The SSTTL tournament is free and open to all (well, up to 16 people) with prizes for the top three finishers including a $50 Shack gift card, special ping pong Shake Shack shirt and custom trophy for the overall champ. And for spectators, Shake Shack will hook up retro wristbands, Shack Shades and food and drink specials during the event. Those looking to participate in the tourney need to stop by the Tysons joint to register for one of the 16 spots. According to our calculations, while it certainly won't burn off a Double Shack burger, standing in one place and knocking a ping pong ball back and forth will surely burn off a single, right?
