Seems like Z-Burger in Tenelytown can't seem to hold enough special promotions. A day after having their free burger and shake for Dad promo, it was announced they will be hosting an Independence Burger Eating contest.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Hope House Foundation, a non-profit organization designed to help bridge the gap between children and their incarcerated parents.
The popular fast food-style D.C. burger joint will be holding the contest on Thursday, July 2 and offering up prizes for first, second and third place.
The first place winner will receive a grand prize of $1,500 and$1,000 dollars worth of Z-Burger food. Second place gets $750 and third $500. All winners will receieve a custom made Z-Burger trophy.
