Not sure how long this special is going on --if it's a one night deal or if they're going to have it again tomorrow-- but this is one burger that sounds like a winner.

Now, I've been disappointed with past burgers I've gotten from Mad Fox, not because they were poor, but because they're were significantly overcooked (to what I ordered) each time. So on my past experiences, I'd get it a bit under what you'd normally order.

The ingredients, however, were top notch, especially the tomatoes and caramelized onions.

Anyway, on to the special: tonight at Mad Fox Brewing Company in Falls Church, they're offering up a fresh ground cheddar burger topped with a bourbon-bacon-onion jam made with their chef's house cured bacon. (I hear they're having a pig roast for their barleywine festival this weekend.)

Goodness.

Anyway, not sure how long this will be available beyond tomorrow, but if you're in the area tonight or tomorrow, I highly recommend stopping by. And please, take a picture.
