Zinburger Wine & Burger bar, which we announced was coming to Springfield all the way back in March of 2014, has finally set a date for its opening. The Arizona-based burger chain is set to open the doors on its Springfield Town Center location on Tuesday, May 3, Zinburger VP of operations Chris Crawford tells Burger Days. The hybrid burger-and-booze spot will feature more than 20 wines by the glass, a double-digit selection of local beer and cocktails . When it comes to the beef, Zinburger's menu has a variety of signature burgers including the restaurant’s eponymous creation with Manchego cheese, mayo and Zinfandel-braised onions, a breakfast burger with fried egg, bacon, avocado and American cheese, a Kobe burger and more. With additional locations in Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina and Arizona, this will be Virginia's second Zinburger restaurant– its first joint in the state opened in Charlottesville two years ago.
