Ted's Bulletin might sound intimidating, but if you can get over the idea of the brown-bag-staple-plus-burger mash-up, you'll find these ingredients are actually pretty fucking spectacular together.
The sticky, gooey smear of peanut butter glistening on the bun right next to the meat is an unsettling juxtaposition but forget the looks, because combined with a slathering of Ted's spicy and sweet tomato jam and a couple of strips of bacon, the potpourri of ingredients make for a unique and damn tasty mouthful. The time-tested flavor tandem of PB&J contrasts near-perfectly with the seasoned beef and salty pig candy. It's not one you'd eat on a regular basis, but it's a great every-once-in-a-while burger.
A word of warning: keep your drink close by and the refills coming because this thing is sticky as all hell and you don't want to end up like that guy in the Shel Silverstein poem. In fact, ask for some extra jam. It's really good and you'll need it to finish this thing (plus your jaw muscles will thank you).

Turns out there's a day for damn near everything as we just found out yesterday was National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day.
We're not ones to get excited over a meatless sandwich. Sure, it was great snacking on as kids, but the only time you'll find us eating PB&J these days is at 3 in the morning when we're drunk hungry at the crib and our kitchen's inventory is down to a loaf of bread, a half-empty jar of Jif and some jelly packets we jacked from IHOP.
However, we did want to give the combo a shout-out because at one D.C. joint, the duo teams up with the beef for a surprisingly satisfying combination. Drew's Peanut Butter Bacon Burger at
