Commemorating 9/11, Z-Burger Giving Free Burgers, Fries & Shakes to First Responders

As we approach the 10-year anniversary of 9-11,
Z-Burger is honoring area rescue workers this weekend by serving up free "thank-you" meals to uniformed first responders.
Starting this Friday and running through Sunday, uniformed rescue workers, firefighters and police officers will receive a free burger (beef, turkey or veggie), fries and milkshake at the joint's Tenleytown location at 4321 Wisconsin Avenue.
"“We at Z-Burger recognize the painful memories associated with the anniversary of 9/11, and we want to do our part to honor the hard work of local rescue workers for their acts of heroism that day and what they do for our community every day,†said Z-Burger owner Peter Tabibian in a press release.
