Because there just isn't enough turkey and stuffing in November, this month's crop of BOTMs is overflowing with the holiday staples. And then some. Here's hoping you're not sick of the bird and all that comes with it come Thanksgiving.
I know how yous kids like 'em sloppy.

BGR The Burger Joint

After a year hiatus, the BGR favorite, Thanksgiving on a Bun, is back on the scene. Last year, the folks at the Burger Joint decided to ditch their go-to November BOTM and instead hooked up a prime rib topped burger. It was a mistake. We're happy to see the cornbread stuffing, cranberry and gravy-topped turkey burger back in the mix this year. 11 Locations in D.C., Maryland and Virginia | bgrtheburgerjoint.com

Our second seasonal BOTM is the Plymouth Harvest at BTS which features a turkey burger topped with crispy stuffing, cranberry chutney and a sage aioli. This is probably the most cheffy of the Thanksgiving burger bunch this month. 2200 Pennsylvania Ave NW | DC | burgertapandshake.com

Dogwood Tavern

For the number three tribute to Turkey Day, Dogwood debuts the creatively named Thanksgiving Burger.  The Falls Church joint gets in the spirit by topping a turkey burger patty with provolone, stuffing and cranberry mayo. Gobble, gobble. 132 West Broad Street | Falls Church | dogwoodtavern.com

An unprecedented fourth bird burger this month hits the scene at Social Burger. While the name won't win any creativity awards, the Thanksgiving Burger's makeup of an all-natural turkey patty topped with stuffing and a housemade cranberry jalapeno jelly definitely peaks our interest. 350 Maple Avenue West | Vienna| mysocialburger.com

And the one, totally oblivious, seasonally unaware burger is, of course, from Bobby's Burger Palace. Though, thankfully, it's a good one. The Pacific Northwest Burger combines white American cheese, cremini mushrooms and a red wine BBQ sauce with the beef and, while it has nothing to do with Thanksgiving, we loved it last year.  [Burger Days Review, October 2014] 2121 K Street, NW | DC | bobbysburgerpalace.com   (We're always on the lookout for BOTMs. If you know of another D.C.-area joint that hooks up a monthly special burger, email us and let us know.)
