From the Falls Church News-Press:

He made his debut. And what a debut it was. Stephen Strasburg was the talk of the town when he was drafted and again when he signed, but nothing compared to the excitement that accompanied his Major League debut Tuesday night.

The S-Man lived up to the hype with a phenomenal first game, breathing new life into D.C.'s baseball franchise. The Nats aren't the only ones getting a piece of the SS action; no less than three area restaurants are now offering up "Strasburgers." That's right, it's time for another burger weekend...Strasburg-style.

First up is The Burger Joint, with a burger topped with a hot dog (symbolizing his professional debut with the Desert Dogs) and "Syracuse Orange" cheddar (honoring his AAA stint with the Syracuse Chiefs) and topped with 14 pickles (one for each K in his debut). BGR is donating $1 from every one sold to the Children's National Medical Center in D.C. The burger will be available through the end of June.

Next up is Glory Day's own Strasburger with spicy pepper jack cheese (bringing the heat), Cali-style guacamole (paying homage to his San Diego roots) and garnished with hot pepper rings.

Finally, there's the Tortilla Coast version: two honey glazed patties, jack cheese and fried onions. The Strasburg hook? It's $11.37 (for SS's #) and only available when he's on the bump.
