The Fat Doug lives up to its name.

We called it! The beefy prognosticators that we are thought three-time champion Michael Symon would take home his fourth People's Choice award at the SoBe Burger Bash Friday, and sure enough, the B Spot Burgers chief won the popular vote with his The Fat Doug Burger topped with coleslaw, pastrami, Castello aged harvarti and stadium mustard. We deemed the chrome-domed Iron Chef as the popular vote front-runner after 2013 winner Bobby Flay was notably absent from this year's competition. We were, however, surprised but thrilled to see Shake Shack take home the Judge's Choice award for their dry-aged burger blend topped with crispy-fried, ale-marinated shallots AKA The ShackMeister (while it's not on the permanent menu, we have it on good authority you can special-order this any time you want). Shake Shack's burger was selected the winner from 31 other participants by the judging team of Andrew Zimmern, Geoffrey Zakarian, Anne Burrell and Trisha Yearwood (yeah, that Trisha Yearwood).
