We never get tired of seeing our name in lights. This month marks the one-year anniversary of our debut in burger form and we're stoked to see it's returning for another run. In other BOTM news, we don't know what it is about Spring but it's bringing out the salad-on-burger trend as two of this month's BOTMs feature the stuff on their April burgs.

One year ago this month, Arlington's brgr:shack unveiled their first-ever BOTM. And what a BOTM it was. A creation of the BD Crew, the brgr:days was just so damn ridiculously tasty, it earned a place in burger history and enough praise during its initial run to warrant another lap around the burger track. Peep the makeup: Applewood smoked bacon, pepper jack, tomato, pickles, Sweet Pete BBQ and a fried egg all on a 7-ounce burger. Could there be a more beautiful creation? Certainly not. BGR The Burger Joint

Salads and bird burgers. Not our favorites, but so it goes when the calendar flips to April at BGR. The return of Spring marks the return of the popular salad-burger mashup, the Turkey Cobb-- an avocado, bacon, blue cheese, lettuce and tomato topped turkey patty. Swap out the poultry for some beef and we'll take a bite. Bobby's Burger Palace

In case you missed our Burger Days 5 recap, we've softened up a bit to Mr. Flay's D.C. joint. And while this is another salad-burger hybrid, at least it sticks with the cow. The Caesar Burger takes Parmesan, romaine hearts, black pepper and a healthy dollop of Caesar mayo to the beef for the Palace's April BOTM. Dogwood Tavern

Dogwood doesn't go salad this month. Nah, forget that rabbit food, this one is coming with a fried egg and schmear of avocado cream cheese.
